Ik verzamel al een jaar of dertig camera’s .
In het begin natuurlijk van alle soorten die je kon vinden.
Maar van lieverlee ga je op een gegeven moment iets bedenken wat een beetje orde in de chaos zou kunnen brengen.
Door de veelheid van soorten ,maten en merken zie je geen lijn meer in je verzameling en weet je ook niet meer goed wat aan te schaffen.
Dus ga je kijken met wat je leuk/betaalbaar /plaatsbaar/ enz. het beste verder zou kunnen gaan en specialiseren.Bij mij zijn dat dan de Miniatuur of spionage camera’s geworden.
Ik noem het altijd maar Miniatuur camera’s , spionage camera’s mogen de mensen er zelf van maken.Maar dan begint het nog maar .
Waar zijn de meeste te koop,wat is er allemaal , en zeker niet onbelangrijk ,wat kost het allemaal.Nou het resultaat kan je hier bekijken.
Bijna alle camera’s werken ,en kunnen opnames maken.Een enkeling heeft wat beperkingen (is het met de mensen ook niet zo ? )
Daar waar revisie /restauratie nodig was ,is dit bijna geheel en vakkundig uitgevoerd.
Door een goede vriend van mij ,die ik heel dankbaar ben voor al het geleverde mooie en goede werk.
Een mooie kreet die ik las is : Miniatuur camera’s zijn de perfecte camera’s om te verzamelen, ze zijn klein en zeer attractief .
En daar zit veel waarheid in.
Je hebt ze in heel veel verscheidende uitvoeringen .
Ze lijken op :

Mijn collectie bestaat uit een aantal camera’s en accessoires
De indeling van de camera’s is op alfabetische volgorde .
De camera wordt afgebeeld met de accessoires die behoren bij de camera ,of er bij gekocht zijn .
Een apart hoofd stuk zijn de “hit”camera’s .
Dit is in mijn verzameling een aparte tak die een nadere omschrijving behoeft.
Een verzameling in een verzameling.
Er zou ook een indeling kunnen gemaakt worden naar opname formaat van de camera.
Maar dit is lastiger zoeken voor mensen die wel een camera naam (denken) te weten ,maar zeker geen opname formaat kennen.
Het is de bedoeling dat deze site continue blijft veranderen,en er steeds informatie bij komt.
Er zullen wellicht fouten en onjuistheden in staan,daarvoor mijn excuses .
En zonder een aantal goede vrienden en bekenden zou ik dit ook niet kunnen.

Introduction
Hi, I’m Joop Riemens.
I’m a passionate collector of cameras.
I started with everything that I could find but gradually brought some order in the chaos of my collection by specializing in miniature or spy cameras..
I call them miniature cameras, but if you like, you can imagine them being used in espionage and detective work.
I explored what was produced, what was available, and, not unimportant, what I could afford… The result is a collection of hundreds of cameras that I’m glad to share with you on this site.
All cameras that I present are in working condition and can be used for capturing images. A few have some limitations (isn’t that the same for us humans as well?), and all repair was done with great skills and professionalism by a good friend whom I thank for the great work.
Miniature cameras are the perfect collector’s items; they are small and very attractive.
In my collection you will find a great variety of design and disguise. The cameras come in the shape of

• Binoculars
• Handguns
• And so on…
My collection has both cameras and accessories. The cameras are presented in alphabetic order, and include their available accessories.
I could have chosen to present them according to the film format used by the cameras, but using the commercial brand names make them easier to find, I hope. Film formats used are 8 mm, 8×11 mm, Disc, 16 mm, 17,5 mm (hit), 35 mm and 110 mm.
A separate section is devoted to the so-called hit cameras’. It’s a collection within a collection.
I will continue to update the site with more cameras and related materials. I apologize for any errors or mistakes in the information that is provided. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you find a mistake so that I can make a correction.
